Happy New Year from the Ulyanenkos! We kicked off 2017 in Moscow, visiting Andrey’s family, and embarked on our honeymoon! The first leg of our journey took us to Dubai where we met up with our friends, Sean and Rawan, who currently live in Abu Dhabi, the capital city of the United Arab Emirates.
THINGS TO DO
- Visit the Sheikh Zayed Mosque, the largest mosque in the UAE
- Drive along the Corniche, Abu Dhabi’s waterfront
- Stop and catch the sunset from Marina Village overlooking Emirates Palace and UAE Presidential Palace
- Take a trip to the dessert
- Go ‘Dune Bashing’ – which means renting a 4×4 and driving up and down the dessert dunes
- Try sand boarding
- Ride a camel
