Our Wedding in Spain

Our wedding in Spain was without a doubt the most beautiful, touching, love-filled and memorable experience of our lives. We are grateful to have family and friends who made the journey to celebrate with us at Villa Casa Nova up in the hills of Garraf National Park. Special thanks to Kelly (Andrey’s american sister) of K Schulz Photography who generously presented us with these amazing photos that captured our time there.

Getting Ready
It’s time! There was so much love and sunshine flowing through the house as we were getting prepared that it brought a sense of peace and calm. As we got dressed and ready, our friends gathered in Sitges for a pick up and experienced the lovely, bumpy dirt road that brings you to the villa. The moment we could see our friends arriving our favorite NYC band, City of the Sun, help set the good vibes to mark the start of our celebration.

Wedding Ceremony
Our ceremony was officiated by our dear friend, Brett. He is someone who makes you laugh without even trying. We opened our hearts and shared our promises to each other and with our family and friends. For us, life (and marriage) is a journey, not a destination, and we will go through life’s ups and downs together, as close as possible, while remaining unique and complete individuals. Our rings are not complete circles but rather a circle with a space and that space is there to remind us there is always room to reach for and towards each other.

Aperitivo Love
After our ceremony, we celebrated with amazing food, flowing drinks, and a beautiful sunset! From the seafood paella, the smoked-in-front-of-you salmon, the giant Iberian ham leg, the guy shucking fresh oysters (and so much more we didn’t even try) it was all super delicious. Muchas gracias to our awesome wedding planners from A Spanish Do, our caterers Sensacions, and our florist Nuria from Flors Amelia for taking our vision and turning it into a reality. Also, many thanks to Linda Klang for capturing and sharing more candid moments with us.

More Love
We dined outdoors, under the stars, at one long rustic table with lights above. The feeling was absolute magic. We shared stories, laughter, and tears. The love in the air was palpable and warmed us to our core. Every hug, every smile, every toast touched our hearts and we are lucky we get to share these moments and create these memories with our favorite people.
